The key aspects he covered include, the skills required by a manager. Emphasis was given to self development. He spoke about self confidence, self motivation, time management, knowledge and attitude.
He gave some tips about how to improve English. One suggestion he gave was practicing to translate Telugu news paper into English language.
Then he moved on to the income levels of people earned in different sectors. He highlighted on the earnings that can be made by people in the insurance sector.
Then he gave some live examples from his experience about customer handling for expanding business. He also emphasized on the difference between a layman and professional’s language. The key is in knowing the terminology. He gave an example of how a layman will say headache from, how a doctor will call the same symptom. Thus, clearly showing the importance and the impact terminology has on one’s profession.
Then he closed the pre placement talk by inviting all the students for an interview. The interview started at 1.45 pm and went on till 3.50 p m. 16 students attended the interview.
They have offered to interview the balance 12 students as well and then give out their interest.
They have promised to give placement to eligible students based on their performance in SIP.
